   Pixton is a web 2.0 tool that offers an unusual experience of learning. It is a comic maker platform that is based on creating and sharing comic strip. It is quite easy and simple to use this tool. Every feature is already designed waiting for you to organize according to your content. These features are characters, backgrounds, outfits, faces, actions, bubbles etc. All you need to do is just choosing  a background, characters and inserting bubbles with text.

How to use Pixton?

After creating an account as student, teacher or parent you will see dashboard on which there are play, plan and feedback options.

click “comic builder” in order to start writing your comic. Here you can create your own comic or browse other’s comics in order to get an idea.

Click “create” a comic.

first of all choose a background for your page. At the underside of page there are options for day-night, adding symbols/ rain/ photo from your gallery, changing the color of the background.

secondly choose a character for your comic. There are a variety of types; astronauts, Egyptian, caveman, gladiator, farmer… When you choose a character you can change its outfit, color (hair, skin or eye) and hair type etc.

Thirdly with “Focus” option you can make your character viewed from different perspectives.

If you want to add text, click “words”.

You can also change the face expressions and actions of your characters.

If you want to add another page, click “add panel” button at the left side of the page.

Click “done” when you finish your work.
