   Peardeck is a web 2.0 tool that integrates with Microsoft Office to help teachers create PowerPoint content for lectures. Teachers can create or edit their presentations directly from Microsoft with the help of this tool. Users can choose from a selection of templates or build content from scratch. By combining presentations with interactive elements, the tool helps advance inquiry-based learning and promote active learning in the classroom. It works well for face-to-face or asynchronous online courses. Peardeck allows instructors to get creative while supporting collaboration between students and teachers. By using the short code provided by instructor, students can join Peardeck from any web-based device. Peardeck functions directly within your PowerPoint slides. There are many options from student response questions to drawing and reflective responses.
