JAMBOARD

   Jamboard is a web 2.0 tool that offers collaborative online whiteboard. It gives students lots of creative workspace.  Jamboard is a Google tool that allows users to organize, format, and present information through text, images, shapes, and drawings. Basically it allows users to write, draw, and erase like a traditional whiteboard, but also it features added digital functions (e.g., importing from Google Search, Google Drive, or Google Photos). It also provides collaboration between students as users can collaborate on the same Jamboard slide from separate devices, making this a community-centered tool. Up to 50 separate Google accounts can be added as collaborators on a single jam. A link to the jam can also be made public, which allows anyone with Internet access to view or edit it. Jamboard can enhance classroom participation by allowing students to visually portray their learning and thinking. This also helps teachers gain knowledge on what their students are comprehending in real-time. It is a great tool for collaboration in in-person, online, synchronous, and asynchronous settings.

   What you can do on this digital whiteboard; 

• You can use a pen, marker, highlighter in order to draw something. You can also erase with the help of eraser tool something you've drawn.
• You can add a shape (circle, square,triangle etc.), sticky note with text, image from your device, image search, Google Drive or Photos, text box.
• You can use a laser to emphasize and highlight certain items on the screen when presenting ideas to others.
• You can choose from background.
• With menu you can rename your jam, download it as a PDF, save a frame as an image, remove, or make a copy your jam.
