   Flipgrid is a video-based web 2.0 tool allows users to discuss with digital devices, but in a fun and engaging way that makes it ideal for use in education. Instead of forums which are based one writing, this discussion platform facilitate discussion by taking short videos as if you are sending snap to your friends. Flipgrid which I designed for group discussions is a very simple and funny to use and fun tool. Flipgrid is designed to help with group discussions but in a way that doesn't leave any student on the spot. In classroom environment not all students are social as much as others. As such, it's a great tool for those fewer social students to express their thoughts and feelings with the class. It also facilitates communication between students and teachers.

How to use Flipgrid?

Create an account.

Click blue “+ group” button at the top of the page. Here you have to option you can either join an existing discussion or start you own discussion.

Click “create a group”.

• Name your group
• Choose a theme
• You can invite users with link, e mail or google classroom.
• You can change privacy setting. Yu can make your discussion private for the ones who you approve or make it available for anyone who wants.

After creating your group your code will appear on the screen you can share it with copy-paste or share directly with Google Classroom/ Microsoft Teams/ Remind/ Twitter.
